Goodbye 2016. It could have been a wonderful year but November 8 ended that. I can’t even console myself by thinking about all the reasons I am fortunate (and with my family and friends I am indeed fortunate). Anthropogenic Climate Change is real and this country just elected a president who is surrounding himself with climate change deniers. It’s difficult to be joyful about nature when I feel I’m singing its eulogy.
